Set on a bend of the Namhan River and ringed by limestone cliffs, this small Chungbuk town packs in more scenery \u2014 and more adventure \u2014 than places ten times its size.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dodamsambong &amp; the river views<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The town\u2019s icon is <strong>Dodamsambong<\/strong> \u2014 three rocky peaks rising straight out of the river, best seen from the riverside walk or a short cruise. Just behind it, the natural stone arch of <strong>Seokmun<\/strong> frames the valley like a window.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thrills with a view<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Danyang is Korea\u2019s unofficial capital of <strong>paragliding<\/strong> \u2014 launch from the hills and drift over the river. Not into heights? The <strong>Mancheonha Skywalk<\/strong> juts out 80m above the water with a glass floor, and <strong>Gosu Cave<\/strong> hides a maze of limestone formations just outside town.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A mountain temple &amp; garlic everything<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t miss <strong>Guinsa<\/strong>, a vast temple complex stacked dramatically up a forested valley.
